As <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espncricinfo.com\/magazine\/content\/current\/story\/556771.html\">the<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espncricinfo.com\/magazine\/content\/current\/story\/556769.html\">platitudes<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.espncricinfo.com\/thepitch\/archives\/2012\/03\/meeting_rahul_dravid_the_soul.php\">pour<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espncricinfo.com\/magazine\/content\/current\/story\/556786.html\">in<\/a>, and the highlights of his career are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espncricinfo.com\/magazine\/content\/current\/story\/556766.html\">analyzed<\/a>, Centives found a statistic that few are likely to pick up on.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, across his career, Dravid ended with a Test average of 52.31, and an ODI average of 39.16.<\/p>\n<p>Rahul Dravid married Vijeta Pendharkar on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rediff.com\/cricket\/2003\/may\/04drav.htm\">the 4<sup>th<\/sup> of May, 2003<\/a>. Between the date of their wedding and their one year anniversary he averaged 95.43 in Test cricket, with two of his three <a href=\"http:\/\/stats.espncricinfo.com\/ci\/engine\/player\/28114.html?class=1;orderby=batted_score;template=results;type=batting;view=innings\">highest Test scores<\/a> coming in this period. He also averaged an amazing 41.77 in ODIs.<\/p>\n<p>Dravid&#8217;s first son, Samit, was born on <a href=\"http:\/\/in.rediff.com\/cricket\/2005\/oct\/11dravid.htm\">October 11<sup>th<\/sup>, 2005<\/a>. Between Samit&#8217;s birth and his first birthday Dravid averaged 62.00 in Tests and 44.11 in ODIs.<\/p>\n<p>His second son, Anvay, was born on <a href=\"http:\/\/cricketnext.in.com\/news\/dravid-becomes-father-again\/40339-13.html\">April 27<sup>th<\/sup>, 2009<\/a>.
