Even bruises are more purple than blue.<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile the positive things associated with blue \u2013 sky and water \u2013 are globally appreciated and experienced.<\/li>\n<li>This also explains why dark yellows are typically the least popular\u2013 they remind us mostly of unpleasant things.<\/li>\n<li>Yet colour preferences have been found to change with time.
